Sushi King operates under the license of Sushi Kin Sdn Bhd and we are a member of the Texchem Group of Companies. Texchem Group of Companies has thirty nine subsidiaries with core business in Industrial, Packaging, Family Care and Food divisions. Sushi Kin Sdn Bhd was established since 1995 to introduce the unique ‘Kaiten Sushi’ or ‘revolving sushi’ and quick service restaurant concept to Malaysians. The uniqueness of picking sushi at leisure from the revolving conveyor belt has attracted a wide variety of customers, even those who are not familiar with Japanese food. Sushi King is now the largest Japanese kaiten restaurant chain in Malaysia. Sushi King is a chain of restaurants serving Japanese dishes in a cozy and comfortable ambience. Sushi King has now spread its wings to many major shopping centers in the Klang Valley, Ipoh, Penang, Seremban, Melaka, Johor, Johor Bahru and East Malaysia. Currently Sushi King has 62 restaurants nationwide and we will continue expanding.
Sushi King celebrated its 10th Year Anniversary in 2005. In conjunction with this celebration, Sushi King launched its new tagline on 9th March 2005, “Healthy Good Taste”. Sushi King emphasizes on providing healthy food to customers.

In order to ensure quality and food safety to their customers, Sushi King has implemented:
1)ISO9001:2000 quality management system – Head Office & Tesco Puchong
2)HACCP Netherlands Rva standards (food safety system) – Tesco Puchong, KLCC, Sunway, Mid Valley LG & Mid Valley Level 3.
3)ISO 22000 - Tesco Puchong, KLCC, Sunway, Mid Valley LG & Mid Valley Level 3
The aim to obtain the above standards is to ensure customers feel safe to dine in Sushi King.
Sushi King offers quality food in a nice and comfortable ambience at a reasonable price. Sushi King’s focus on quality is reflected in its menu change. Our ala carte menu consists of Yakimono (grilled dishes), Agemono (fried dishes), Noodles, Donburi (rice bowl dishes), Japanese Curry, Sashimi, Salad and Kids Meals. The table mat menu consists of set meals and sushi items. We change our ala carte and set meal menus twice every year. Therefore, infusing it with a new design and continuously adding interesting new dishes, specially created by our Japanese chef, to our menus. This ensures that our customers experience something new each time they dine with us.
Our current customer relationship program is the Sushi King Card Membership Program. Through this program, we are able to study further on our target customers, by reviewing the information obtained. Besides that, we will circulate the Sushi King Bits and Bites Newsletter to our members 2-3 times a year. The newsletter will include with the latest news and information of our new product launches as well as extra information to enhance their knowledge in healthy eating diets. At present, we have already recruited approximately 85,000 of members nationwide.
Sushi King believes in continual improvement and this is seen in every aspect of their operations: from the development of our products, to the evaluation of our customers’ expectations, the design of the restaurant and people development. With stringent quality standards, our employees are trained to practice quality as our way of life.
Sushi King not only expands its business through opening at new locations, we also upgrade our restaurants whenever necessary.
1) Year 2006 renovated restaurants: Subang Parade, Genting, Mahkota Parade, Bandar Utama, Ampang Point and Kinta City.
2) Year 2006 newly opened restaurants: Queen’s Park, AEON Tebrau, Berjaya Times Square, Taman Equine, Auto-City, Centro Klang and Queensbay Mall.
3) Year 2007 renovated restaurant: Sunway Pyramid and Tesco Puchong
4) Year 2007 newly opened outlets: Batu Pahat, IKANO Power Centre, Selayang Mall and Metro Kajang
5) Year 2008 newly opened outlets: Sooka Sentral, SohoKL, Alamanda, The Spring Kuching, Boulevard Kuching, 1 Borneo Sabah, East Coast Mall Kuantan, City Mall Sabah, Tesco Kampar, Ampang Utara 2 and Bukit Indah Johor.
6) Year 2009 newly opened outlets: Warisan Square Sabah, Kluang Mall Johor, Bintang Plaza Miri, Teluk Intan and The Hills Kuching.
7) Year 2010 newly opened outlets: Parkcity Bintulu, Wetex Muar, Sunway Carnival Penang , AEON Bandaraya Melaka & Kulim Landmark Central.
