Owner, Mrs Loo said her noodles are made without using any kan sui or lye water. She added that the noodles are made with special imported flour which gives the noodle an extra springiness with every bite.

Their most well loved and well known dish, the Si Chuan Beef Noodle deserves very accolade and praise ever given to the noodles. Its soup is made with chillies and a combination of Chinese herbs which gives it an herbal base flavour while packing a punch of spiciness. There were also generous amount of beef chunks which came with the noodle. All this for only RM7.00 which is a bargain for good food at even better prices!

Another crowd favourite, the Pork Chop Noodle (RM7.00) is served dried or kon lo with a piece of fried pork chop. The pork chop has a crispy texture that will please the young and old diners alike.

The Fried Sauce Noodles is a dish which exudes the aromatic flavour of dried shrimp, mushroom, minced pork and mixed together with a special seafood sauce.

If you are ordering the Si Chuan Beef Noodle, do ask for a glass of Plum Juice (RM2.70) to wash it all down. The refreshing concoction is made by boiling plum and several herbs together. Served cold, it helps to cool down the body while reduces the zingy after taste from the Si Chuan Beef Noodle.

Fret not as you can recreate the goodness of the noodles right in your own kitchen as they do sell Taiwan Noodles and Hing Hua Mee Sua in its dried form. These are sold at RM9 each in a packet of 1KG. However, if you are unsure of how to cook, simply ask Mrs Loo for directions on how to prepare the noodles at home.
