Barely in its third year of business, Jasmine Lee from KFK Soho Restaurant believes that her restaurant keeps the crowd coming in as the restaurant offers a wide range of dishes at affordable prices. “We do have a fusion menu of pastas, rice, noodles and western as there is something for everyone,” said Lee. The restaurant also takes pride in outlet; operating two storey of a shop lot in Bandar Puteri. While the downstairs is a quaint place for meals and chit chat, the upstairs can be turned can cater for functions such as events, parties and buffets. One of their signature dishes is the Hawaiian Chicken Chop. It is a meaty chicken chop served with brown sauce, pineapple, cheese, and egg with a side of coleslaw and French fries. This meal is served on a sizzling hot plate, giving it the extra fizz when the meal arrives at your table. The chicken is well marinated and goes very well with all the accompaniments. To fully bring out its flavour, do cut a piece of chicken and have it at one go with the pineapple and molten cheese and I can tell you, the taste is well balanced and contrasted by the combination of the food items. Hawaiian Chicken Chop Their Stir Fried Omelette Seafood Noodle is just like a pearl in the oyster; waiting to be discovered. The seafood noodle is wrapped in an omelette a la Pattaya fried rice. Open the omelette and a tempting noodle await. Loaded with bean sprouts and seafood such as crab sticks, prawns, squid and fish cakes among other, the noodle somehow retains it flavour despite being rich in ingredients. At KFK, they have an endless array of drinks just waiting to be explored. The Iced Mint Tea is a quirky and inviting drink with retains its minty flavour amidst a tea background. However, for something a little more familiar, the Iced Apple Tea is also a yummy treat to sip on while lazing away the blues.
